The Human Side of Change

This workshop deals with the people who must make any organizational change work: the employees and their leaders. It's not about information technology, models of change, or the technical aspects of the work. Rather, it answers the most important question change agents must ask: how can the employees and managers understand, get involved in, and help lead this change?

Specifically, the workshop covers these topics:

  • What questions do people ask when change is announced?
  • What are the major needs employees have during change?
  • What works, and what doesn't, in terms of communications during change?
  • What are the phases people experience during change, and what can leaders do to help people through each phase?
  • What are some effective strategies for dealing with the human element?
  • What tools have proven effective for managing change?

What You'll Leave With:

  • An understanding of the change process
  • Greater confidence that you can manage organizational and personal changes
  • Specific tools and strategies for managing the human side of change
  • A detailed workbook with facts, statistics, tools, and all the key points from the session
